Fitting in is overrated, and The Misfits are the perfect representation of this.

Despite our unorthodox origins, our rugby teams excel on and off the pitch. Unlike other teams that are bound by nationality and a history of playing together, The Misfits find our camaraderie in the game.

Welcoming players from across the Caribbean and North America might mean our players don’t get to bond extensively before tournaments. However, it does mean we’re able to recruit top talent from across the board and give them the exposure they need to succeed in the sport.

We play globally but operate from Toronto, Canada.

My initial concerns were whether we could gel together as a team while that was settled immediately. I'm a proud member of a fantastic, well-organized team with various cultures, personalities and playing styles. Although we come from different countries, we worked as one team because we shared the same vision, objective, tenacity and enthusiasm. From the first whistle to the last whistle, we played for each other, fought for each other and cheered on each other. The coaches and managers are amazing people who encourage me to perform at my best. My 35 years felt like 25. This is an incredible team and I'm excited to be a part of it.
