Most of our squad is selected from players with Caribbean heritage, ranging from great-grandparents to parents. We prioritize these athletes, but exceptions are made for players of high calibre who meet our standards, regardless of their origin, including those from North America and beyond.

The Misfits' focus is facilitating access to elite rugby opportunities for Caribbean players, helping them gain international exposure and placement in the U.S. and Canada. Our primary focus is on players over 18 years old, as we aim to develop adult athletes for elite competition. However, we do consider younger players who demonstrate exceptional talent and potential.

While prior experience and skill in rugby are highly advantageous, we also welcome passionate athletes committed to learning and developing their abilities. Each application is reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

As a member of The Misfits, you will receive comprehensive support, including coaching, training programs, access to international competitions, and personal and athletic development opportunities. Our network is dedicated to helping you achieve your full potential.

Training and competition schedules vary based on the season and upcoming events. Members can expect regular training sessions, participation in local and international tournaments, and continuous opportunities for skill development.

Some costs may be associated with travel, gear, and event participation. However, we strive to minimize financial barriers and often seek sponsorships and funding to support our players. Specific details can be discussed during the recruitment process.
