Working with The Misfits
The Misfits Rugby Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing rugby in the Caribbean community. We are committed to providing Caribbean rugby players with international platforms to showcase their talents and skills for an opportunity to play with elite clubs globally.
Our story starts in Saint Lucia, where someone recognized the talent of our founder, Claudius Medouze and provided him with an opportunity to play with some of the elite rugby teams in Canada. That opportunity produced an impactful change in his life, which gave birth to The Misfits Rugby Inc.
Our North Star is to nurture athletic talent and support the athletes with mental health services, career counselling, youth engagement through our under-19 program, and community support via a School Supply program. Our initiatives have enabled numerous players to secure professional contracts and participate in prestigious events like the Hong Kong Sevens and RugbyTown USA.
